Legal Secretary – Government Litigation – Government Job in Australia

Working with a reputable national law firm located in the heart of the Canberra, we are looking for an litigation legal secretary to support at a fun and down-to-earth team.

Duties in this role will include:

  • Word processing
  • Drafting and amending legal documents,
  • Preparing matters for Hearing
  • Answering client inquiries
  • Maintaining client files
  • Time sheet entry and client billing

To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience as a legal secretary with solid knowledge of court processes.  You will also have strong technical skills, sound communication skills, the ability to use your initiative and a keen eye to detail. This role will suit a junior to intermediate level secretary or a law student who has gained experience in a law firm.
